In July 2002, Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers received kosher certification from one of the world's leaders in Kashruth excellence, STAR-K Kosher. The STAR-K logo on Aunt Gussie's packaging means that all our products and their ingredients meet STAR-K's high standards of Kashruth. Kosher consumers can buy Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers products with confidence.

Separate baking facitilies and equipment are used for the dairy and the pareve products in order to ensure that Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers are not only fresh and healthy, but also 'proper' according to kosher standards. Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers are also pas yisroel.

The pareve designation indicates that no derivatives of poultry, meat or dairy were used; these products can be eaten in conjunction with any type of meal -- either meat or dairy, making them popular with vegetarians and lactose intolerant individuals.

In the case of Aunt Gussie's dairy products, the only dairy ingredient used is kosher certified U.S. Grade AA Butter (non-cholov yisroel).
