SQF - Safe Quality Food
The SQF Program is a leading food safety and quality certification system that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The program was designed to meet the needs of suppliers and buyers, to ensure their compliance with food safety regulations in both domestic and global markets at all stages of the supply chain. Aunt Gussie's was awarded SQF Level 2 certification in 2015.
Aunt Gussie's products are Kosher certified under STAR K Kosher, one of the world's leaders in Kashruth excellence. The STAR-K logo on Aunt Gussie's packaging means that all our products and it's ingredients meet STAR-K's high standards of Kashruth; kosher consumers can buy Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers products with confidence.
Separate baking facilities and equipment are used for the dairy and the pareve products in order to ensure that Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers are not only fresh and healthy, but also 'proper' according to kosher standards.
The parve (pareve) designation indicates that no derivatives of meat or dairy were used; these products can be eaten in conjunction with any type of meal -- either meat or dairy, making them popular with vegetarians and lactose intolerant individuals. Aunt Gussie's parve products are also pas yisroel.
Aunt Gussie's is certified by GFCO since 2009, the leading gluten-free certification program in the world.
